This Sucks

Screwing around with different brushes and scrappers. Not sure how many of you will actually be able to make this picture out.

I want to learn how to give shape with shadow and light, rather then line. I am always impressed when an artist can imply so much depth with shadows.

btw it is a dude tied to a chair, smoking a cig. and he is under some old wooden plank floor.
