I don't actually mind some emo, but it was just way too emo. So I sketched and sketched and this design hit. I kept sketching and his nose just got bigger and bigger.
Glad you are digging it. It is action stuff till about page 11 and then we start getting into some story elements. So hopefully it still holds together.
Yeah for some odd reason emo characters have pretty interesting designs, though Pickle must've looked horrible if you had to redesign him. =/ So big noses are your thing? Every artist have their own thing. Just look at Matt Groening. Whether it's Futurama or The Simpsons you can definitely recognize his style.
Yeah Shiver Bureau is living up to my expectations. Don't worry it'll hold together. As long as the art is wicked and the story is solid then SB shouldn't lose it's flavor. Keep up the good work.
